Okeanos Aggressor II

The Okeanos Aggressor I® & Okeanos Aggressor II® depart from Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Boarding and departure depend on the tide schedule. Immediately after boarding for our Costa Rica liveaboard scuba diving adventure, the yacht departs for its 36-hour crossing to Cocos Island. 

Arrival:

Guests travel arrangements MUST include a one-night stay-over in San Jose, Costa Rica one day prior to the yacht’s departure to meet the transfer schedule to Puntarenas from San Jose regardless of which itinerary you are traveling on. Upon your arrival at the airport in San Jose, you are responsible for your transfer to your hotel. Aggressor Liveaboards recommends you stay at one of the two host hotels: The Holiday Inn Escazu or Holiday Inn Express Forum. These are the only hotels the Okeanos bus picks up from. On the first day of the charter, a bus will pick passengers up at the Holiday Inn Escazu then Holiday Inn Express Forum and travels approximately 1 1/2 hours to meet the Okeanos Aggressor I or II, (times listed on the last page) If you are not staying at one of these hotels, you will need to make your own way to one of these hotels prior to the pickup times. 

10 Nights Sample Itinerary

Hari 1 – Meet in front of the host hotel (See the last page of “Know Before You Go” for pick up time). Transfer to Puntarenas for boarding and departure for Cocos Island.

Day 2-3 – Arrive at Cocos Island, diving begins.

Day 4-8 – Eat, Sleep & Dive.

Day 9-10 – Travel back to Puntarenas.

Hari 11 – Check out at 7 am and transfer to San Jose Airport or host hotels.

Checkout:

Checkout time is at 7:00 a.m. on the morning of departure. The staff will transport you to one of the host hotels, the San Jose airport, or, if you are not departing until the late afternoon you may take advantage of the jungle crocodile safari or canopy tour. Departing flights should be scheduled after 12:30 p.m. Due to traffic, tides, etc. you will not be able to make an early morning departing flight. 

There are multiple dives throughout the day for an average of 24 dives on 10-night charters. No night diving is currently offered at Cocos Island.

Water temperatures range from 72 – 82F, 22 – 28C with cooler thermoclines, 3 – 5 mm wetsuit recommended

The Okeanos Aggressor I & II are each equipped with two 8″ x 22″ tenders.  All dives from tenders.
