About Atlantis Resort Dumaguete

Just a thirty-minute drive from the local airport, on a long peaceful stretch of beach, lies the lush and luxurious Atlantis Dive Resort – Dumaguete. Surrounded by an amazing tropical garden with some of the rarest plants to be found in the Philippines, it is just a short trip to some of the most renowned dive sites in Asia – Apo Island, Siquijor, and of course the local Dauin Marine Sanctuaries. While better known as Atlantis Dumaguete, the capital, principal seaport and largest city of the province, we are actually a part of the municipality of Dauin (pronounced Da-win), the epicenter of Dumaguete’s dive scene.

UNTERKUNFT

Atlantis’ 44 guest rooms and suites are elegantly designed to give you maximum comfort, privacy and relaxation throughout your stay (all bedrooms have one room). Guests can choose between Deluxe Rooms, the Garden Suite or the Premier Garden Suite, Ocean Front Rooms or the Seaview Suite. All rooms provide AC, minibar, ensuite facilities & toiletries, Wifi and much more.

RESTAURANT & BAR

Toko’s restaurant is right on the beach and will provide you with a unique dining experience. Using fresh local products and flavors, but made to an international standard, the resort moved away from monotonous a la carte menus to daily changing blackboard menus at both lunch and dinner. Choose from an extensive list of cocktails and shakes, or sip the best coffee in town while enjoying the wonderful view.

SPA & WELLNESS

The newly renovated Spa features four private therapy rooms – there’s also a sauna and rain shower area to complement your therapy. Unwind from a hard day’s diving and add the perfect finishing touches to your vacation. 

Refresh yourself in our private pool or relax in the sun. This fresh water pool is over 100 sqm in size with a shallow (1m) area, as well as a deeper (3m) area. Lushly landscaped, it is filled with non-chlorinated water and beautifully sheltered by trees.

TAUCHZENTRUM

Atlantis Dumaguete is located in Dauin on Negros Island, the third-largest island in the Philippines. This island is believed to have once been part of the island of Mindanao but was cut off either by continental drift or the rising waters at the end of the ice age.

Dauin has established several sanctuaries, and just one reason for the stunning marine biodiversity exhibited here within which fishing and boating are absolutely prohibited. This includes sites such as Mainit, Luca, Dauin and Masaplod. These sites are well preserved and offer a huge variety and quantity of life forms; Blue-ringed octopus, Wonderpus, Mimic octopus, Poison ocellate octopus, Ambon scorpionfish, Flamboyant cuttlefish, Bobbit worms and a wide variety of Nudibranchs are frequent sights.

The state of the art dive facilities support all levels of recreational divers, Nitrox as well as re-breather and technical diving. Not only do they have the top dive operation in the area but many of our guides are instructors as well as being the best spotters in the Philippines.

Wie man dorthin kommt

Dumaguete City, on the southern tip of the island of Negros is right in the heart of the Visayas. It is 500 km south of Manila and 110 km from Cebu City (the second largest city in the Philippines) and is easily accessible from either.

- Daily flights from Manila (MNL) via Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines (both use Airbus A319/320 aircraft). Flight time is approximately one hour.

- From Cebu via van and boat (via Liloan) or by fast ferry to Dumaguete. Private plane arrangements also possible.

- Atlantis is in Dauin, approximately thirty minutes by road from Dumaguete City.

GARDEN/SEA VIEW SUITE

These suites also have a large furnished balcony or patio. The Seaview Suite has one queen size bed, ensuite with shower, safe, AC, ceiling fan, TV, minibar, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and DVD player. Additionally, this suite has a sea view, small office with desk and large balcony.

OCEAN FRONT ROOM

KAMERA-EINRICHTUNGEN

Puerto Galera verfügt über einen geräumigen, klimatisierten Kameraraum, in dem Sie Ihre Kameras bequem vor dem Tauchgang vorbereiten können. Der Raum verfügt über 30 Ablagefächer für die individuelle Aufbewahrung. Im Raum sind Luftpistolen sowie Steckdosen (110 und 220 Volt) und Papierhandtuchspender verteilt. Ein Regal entlang der gesamten Arbeitsfläche bietet Platz für Batterieladegeräte. Sechs fluoreszierende Wandleuchten sorgen für zusätzliche Beleuchtung. Der Raum verfügt außerdem über zwei internetfähige Desktop-PCs, auf denen die Gäste ihre Fotos ansehen können.
